Hua Ta Kee means something like 'the head of a crocodile'.
It is a part of the
Lat Krabang district of van Bangkok.
The administration of Lat Krabang is located in Hua Ta Kee.
It was originally a community, which was located in wooden houses along and behind Khlong
Prawet Burirom and a market along Khlong Hua Ta Kee.
Both khlongs cross each other here.
This is the part of Hua Ta Kee where we prefer to come.
The other part, with a lot of new buildings and busy traffic, we find much less interesting.
But we must also be there often, for example, for banking or purchasing.
The busy Thanon Latkrabang, formerly Thanon On-Nut, also runs through the new part.
Now a flyover is built there, which starts on one side before the exit to the airport and
on the other side near a busy exit under the motorway.
We are curious about what is going to mean for the appearance of Hua Ta Kee, what we have
seen on flyovers in Bangkok is not that great.
The market is still there, especially in the morning it is busy.
The wooden houses are also there. in front the houses is a wooden path, sometimes covered, above the water of the khlong. In the middle is a high bridge where you can cross the khlong.
We were here on Monday, February 7, 2022 and on Wednesday, March 9, 2022.

We tell what we have done and experienced during a trip and we also tell what we think about it; no more and no less.
This is not a travel guide, nor is it advice to visit a place or not.
There are other sites for that.
Our opinion about places where we have eaten, drunk or slept is not intended as a (positive or negative) assessment,
there are other sites for that.
It is our view of the situation at a certain moment and that view is influenced by our mood,
the weather and many other factors.
